This week, inside
Your baby’s proportions are formed, with more growing still ahead. Across weeks 21 to 24, the sucking reflex develops, fat forms beneath the skin, and ridges that will become fingerprints and footprints take shape.
What you might be noticing
- Body making room. pregnancy hormones loosen ligaments and muscles while the growing uterus adds pressure.
- Rest and sleep. tiredness and sleep difficulties are common at this stage.
- Digestion. indigestion, bloating, constipation, or piles may be present.
Small things that help
Make one frequently used corner easier to reach from. Put your questions in one note instead of carrying them in your head, and let this week be recorded without asking it to feel any particular way.
